On the House side, Rep. William Delahunt (D-MA) introduced the Main Street Fairness Act (H.R. 5660) The bill would authorize the 24 states that are part of the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement (SSUTA) to require remote retailers to collect and remit sales tax on orders in their states. The problem is, Pennsylvania has not signed on to that agreement. View HR 2701 here.

Through the BARP program, the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) can assist with the deployment of broadband to qualifying businesses that are considering locating to or within Pennsylvania.
