| How We Do It
Events
PA e-Comm events will provide information on e-business topics and
trends including technological developments, industry practices,
e-tax, legal and business and accounting issues for the digital
marketplace.
Program formats range from informal roundtable discussions to large
sessions featuring panels of experts. All events are focused on
providing valuable networking opportunities and the chance to compare
ideas with other enterprises facing similar business and technical
issues.
Website
The PA e-Comm Web site will provide information about our programs
and activities as well as industry events, news and access to e-business
resources.
Public Policy
PA e-Comm also strives to form cooperative relationships with public
policy and elected officials to keep them informed of the potential
impact of governmental involvement in the electronic commerce industry.
PA e-Comm supports governmental actions that further the mission
of the Association.
Moreover, PA e-Comm will educate public policy and elected officials
on issues of relevance to the members of the Association and will
advocate such positions so as to further the overall goals of the
Association's membership.
Research and Development
PA e-Comm will conduct, collect and publish research that will serve
as a benchmark for the industry's growth and progress. Available
online, this research will provide an invaluable resource for those
interested in understanding the electronic commerce industry.
As the needs of Pennsylvania's e-commerce community continue to
evolve and diversify, so will the offerings of PA e-Comm. Feel free
to contact us at info@paecomm.org with comments and suggestions
you might have to improve service to our members.
